996 TT Exhaust

A sports exhaust will make a difference to a turbo. The standard 996tt exhaust is pants, get rid of it. However, that is secondary to the cats, they do the majority of the damage. Personally I would just replace the cats with a bypass, if not, get sport cats. I believe you will see a good 25 bhp (from experience with my car). I think a forum member called Lee went to G-force-motorsport.co.uk for exhaust and filter..... He posted some pretty good results. Do a search on the forum, i'm sure the post will turn up.
As far as make is concerned, I believe most of the after market guys are rebadged FVD.de products. I also recall that G-force are now the UK/European distributor. For more info I would have a look on rennlist.com. There are some serious tuning monkeys posting regular mouth watering tails of performance modifications.....

If you are serious about this go to the www.rennlist.com 996TT forum,,,the guys on there change sports exhaust' like we change toothbrushes.
