e34 525 sport

Whats the difference between an e34 525 and the 525 sport ?

Does it have an LSD ?
do they have air con ?
are they the same as the 535 sport apart from the engine ?

I'll be looking for an E34 for around £1000, so im trying to work out what spec to get.

Yup, think they're the same as a 535i Sport.

M Sport suspension and body kit, LSD, sports seats, close ratio box (if manual) etc.

I have one [For Sale - but £2000] ... its essentially the same as the 535 Sport but with the M50 2.5 24v Straight Six making just shy of 200BHP.

Lovely cars in my opinion [although I would say that!!]

The sport E34 doesnt have a CL gearbox,manual or auto, its the same box as in all the M30 engined cars.

Easy to think otherwise as the E30 325 sport does car a different g/box to the standard model.

Great cars, especially the one im selling!

I may be wrong but I thought the E34 535i M Sport had close ratio manual?

Nope...the car is basiclly an SE with an LSD,kit,sports seats, M Tec steering wheel,gear knob and suspension.

The m tec suspension was a £68 option(in 1990) on the SE as well.

Wasn't that the 540 Sport?
