I am now the proud owner of a Black 07 Monaro VXR
Was in the dealer today and there are few cosmetics that need fixed, so I officially get her when I come back my holidays on the 1st October (I'll be in a rush to get back my holidays laugh) + they need to transfer my plate over.

Went for a long drive and it was FUN, just love the noise, acceleration and how mean it looks. Hilariously I got passed by a madman in a 206, I was quite happy to do the speed limit TBH.

The car has no manual so the dealer is going to source that for me hopefully, although I've down loaded one. It comes with mats (reading the other thread about some being matless). I did find the brakes to have a little bit of give in them and not as sharp as the Z, however the clutch is so much lighter than the Z.

Anyway can't wait to get her home!

Congratulations! Re the 206 - you'll get that a lot, everyone will try to race you. Start saving for a supercharger!

sorry to state the obvious, but see if he will include a tube of the correct touch-up paint, and make sure the locking nut caps and all codes are present!!

the downloaded manual is fine.

Caps - I had asked about that and they said it never had them.
Codes - assume you mean radio etc... good point, cheers.
I'll get my cousin to sort me out if i'm struggling, she works for Vauxhall....which may be handy

Just how are you going to manage to wait until October? Can't you just cancel the holiday?

Car looks nice. Hope you enjoy it.

Well done. And you got the fastest colour. The bad news is no more holidays. You really will want to get the Iron Lung!

All the badges are just stuck on, so a bit of dental floss to slice under the badge and the some tar remover or meths to clean up the adhesive.
