Yeeeeeees, Passed!! And big shout out.

Huzzah! I have at last got my act together and over the last week completed my DAS, passing today with 2 minors. Even the flipping U-turn went smoothly! Feels absolutely fan-bloody-tastic. Now just need to get the insurance sorted and get out there.
Did my training with Mark Sheppard at Ultimate Rider Training in Ashford near Staines (Next to Jack Lilley) and cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely first class service - seems genuinely concerned that you leave knowing how to ride and not just that you passed the test. Great relaxed atmosphere, and you're guaranteed a good laugh and a good feed, though have to put up with some suspect singing in your ear every so often
Still can't believe I've done it - Never ridden a bike a week ago to being allowed to ride anything still seems ridiculous, but I'll potter around on a Bonneville until I can afford something a bit beefier.
Hopefully see some of you out on the road.
Cheers
Jamie

Cheers Guys, can't wait to get out there and get some road time
Must admit that I am tempted to keep the Bonnie and maybe go the Thruxton/Cafe Racer route with it. Think it would look pretty mean in JPS black and gold (instantly making it faster ) and should be tame enough to not get me into too much trouble. Otherwise I'd be looking at something like an MT-01 or ZRX1200. Being a bit of big br means I don't really suit the supersports bikes - like a monkey humping a football
