number plate light

Can someone shed a little light my number plate light doesn`t work, no voltage at the wires, bulb is ok. All the other electrics are fine, I wondered where the feed for the light comes from, cheers for any suggestions.

According to the bible, the LH front, RH rear and number plate lamp are in the same circuit (red/white wire). I would expect a red/white wire to run from the RH rear light cluster. If this works, I would start from there. Also the earth wire could be faulty. Have you checked for continuity between the earth wire and a known good earth point? (- battery terminal)

Thanks for the reply, I can see in the bible how it shares with other lights. Got it sorted now, bad connection, cheers
