Few questions on snap off bosses...

are there "good" and "bad" snap off bosses, or are they all pretty much of a muchness?

Do they generally stick out any further from the spline than without, so would the steering wheel need to be flatter to end up with the rim in the same place?

Anyone got drawings with Dims of any particular bosses?

Am I asking "how long is a piece of string" questions tongue out

they generally add 1.5inches to the position of the steering wheel, don't forget you may also need a crush boss to pass SVA (but I swopped these once it had passed).

As for good and bad, I have seen both good and bad of the same make so its worth actually opening the box and looking at them before you buy to check play. Saying that you need to make sure the one you buy is a good strong design so don't go to cheap.

Incidentally I had a removeable one on my Ultima and never removed it so I am not bothering on my GTT. But then I have also designed it to be easier to get in than the Ultima so I wouldn't need to anyhow.
