Well I know we don't really care about mpg for obvious reasons....but has anyone worked out what they get ?
Following my recent RR session (indicated 350 bhp/264 ft lbs ) with the 4.2 in the tuscan (where fuelling was shown to be correct) coming home I reckon I got about 19 mpg at a steady 80 mpg.

On our run to the Nurburgring a few weeks back I managed 23 @ various motorway speeds with plenty of 4th gear for the desired snap crackle and pop when passing elderly motorists or people with their windows down
I think 25/26 is actually possible if you sit at 70 and behave.
Around town/normal driving, I'd hate to work it out.
I do know about 5/6 laps of the Nurburgring will kill a tank though.

bloody hell! i used toget around 18-19mpg in mine! got 270miles out of a full tank once.
Mine is very surprising economical on the cruise. Travelling up to Fighting Torque, approx 190 miles from me I used just over half a tank of super, mainly at fast motorway speeds with the odd standstill on the M25 thrown in. I went on to do a fair few full throttle runs (3/4 mile) and topped up on the way home, didn't work it out exactly but it was around 25mpg which is simply amazing

it twas on the return from the 12mpg cerburgring trip. 350 miles to a tank at 100mph cruise! more economical the faster i drive.
Is there a moral in there somewhere?
Same here.. the 31mpg (may have been a dash more) was the return from a trackday at Croft. Is there a moral in there somewhere?

Drive them hard, they'll pay you back!!
