Removing RR L322 Door Protectors

Hi Guys,

Quick question about removing RR L322 door protectors. I have found a Vogue I’m pretty interested in but it has those daft grey plastic strips running horizontally down the doors. Do any of you know how easy it would be to remove them and if there would be any damage to the door underneath.

Plastic rubbing strips down the sides of the doors - literally stuck on with glue so a hairdryer and time will get them off.

Useful for protecting.... erm.... the doors.... erm..... a bit.

Can't see the point, and don't half look daft...
