Anyone sucessfully managed to repair the grp that the boot hinge bolts into. My hinge has come away from the body such that I now have a 30mm diameter hole. I've had a go at repiring with resin and matting, but due to pooraccess below the hole, the repair wasn't strong enough and has broken away again.

Thanks

Paul

Mine went (RH side), pulled straight out.

We replaced the glassed in bolt with a Bolt, the original rubber, BIG heavy duty washer and a nut.

Has been ok for 12 months or so.

Thanks for the tip. The big washer bit sounds good. How did you seal it for water - did you re-glass it or use silicone or something similar.

Thanks

It's so tightly bolted in there's no water ingress.

We were going to back it out, and silicon or epoxy it all together but it is fine without.
