Hello all

I received my new oil pressure sender from racetech today. Planning to swap it out tonight but it dawned on me on the way to work this morning - should I drain the sump before I do it? I have visions of me coming out from under the car with Mobil1's finest all over me and the garage floor. wobble

Cheers

Best place for it you dont want it in the engine thats for sure.... put something nice and thick in its place your engine will thank you for it.

Thanks all - got the sender fitted now I have a health pressure reading rather than a scary looking 100+ PSI.

(Out of interest I checked the receipt re: the oil - turns out it wasn't Mobil 1s finest twas Motuls not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. You may have gathered I'm about as useful as a non-useful thing when it comes to car maintenance)
