Blinking slow isn't it!

My Trumpet's up for a steal of a price, but not exactly being inundated with calls.

Far too many fair weather riders these days wink

..and be prepared for some silly offers..

My fave time to buy is december when a seller may be desperate for cash..

Yep, no fun at all; I've just sold one of mine rather cheap. I'm not a dealer, but I wonder if everyone selling has had a hard time this year with the weather having been so rubbish.

Having said that, I can't whinge too much because my old buying tactic has been to look for bikes in the winter. You've got to hold out as a buyer though; I've chatted to quite a few dealers who've cottoned onto what I've been up to and the response has been "good luck to you mate, but I can afford to stock it for another 3 months and get a lot more cash...."

I've tried selling bikes at this time of year and had no luck. I readvertised in Spring and could have sold it several times over.

If you can wait then you WILL get a better price for it.

Edited to add that I'll raise the bidding to a tenner.....

...and the dealers! I got a large chunk off the ST13 by agreeing a deal the Friday before last xmas hehe

Some doom-monger on here predicted a plummet in the price of ST13s due to the problems some Police forces had, but the only ones I've seen sell for less than I paid have been high miles, ex-Police or damaged. Or all three wink

*cough*gayersthen*cough*.

I wave my blue frost bitten fingers in a one and a half blackened digit salute to my comfortable, warm car equipped with a stereo and a fancy cup holder. Pah.
