New five speed ZFQ

Hi Guys
just to introduce you to the new ZFQ mid engine 5 speed transaxle, this new transaxle is rated at 600BHP and 550ftlbs of torque. ( see http://www.gt40s.com/forum/manufacturer-company-an...
We are having the ZFQ manufactured by Quaife and it is fitted with the Quaife ATB differential, we will soon be manufacturing the LS7 bellhousing, enabling fitment to the Ultima and outher mid engined cars

Chris, correct me if I'm wrong, after reading the the thread (!) it looks like a box will be in the £6K range plus an adaptor, starter motor and clutch (?)
I think you might find that people with a Gen III engine and currenty running a Getrag 6sp (G96) box might be interested as these box's are the weakest link (for even moddest power outputs 450ish). Ask me how I know! These box's are cable change so could the cables be kept for this application?

yes, this brand new ZFQ is £6000, and yes a cable change will be available.
Mike Quaife said that he rates this transaxle as the best one he's manufactured so far.
Production starts in the next two weeks and the first batch of 30 transaxles will be complete by Christmas.
