I'm going to get Halo 3 tomorrow and have Friday off as I've got to stay at my girlfried's while I wait to collect my car from the body shop. What I'm interested to find out is if its a pain to unplug a 360 and take it somewhere else. I've not had it all that long but remember being surprised at how long the set-up took compared with the orignal Xbox. This could have been down to having to transfer my Live account but I can't remember.
Is it just a matter of pulling out the cables and plug and then reversing the process at the other end or is there a load of setting up to be re-done? I won't be hooking it up to the internet over the weekend, will this wipe my usual settings or moan about not being able to establish a connection?
Any help will be appreciated, as much as I'm looking forward to playing Halo 3 I don't fancy chuffing up my 360's current status quo!

I had to move mine recently and don't remember it being any big problem.
Unplug the aerial lead from the back of the TV. Unplug the power pack. Ideally unplug them from the 360 too and move separately, but you can leave them plugged in if you want. Move to new location and do it in reverse. Easy.
What you really MUST do though is make sure you remove any disk from the 360 before moving it. If you don't, it stands a good chance of being scratched to buggery next time you come to play it.
From memory, having no internet access simply means that it will load the default profile but you'll play in offline mode. That shouldn't pose a problem.
ETA: You may need to play around with the settings if you're moving from an HDTV to an SDTV but otherwise I don't think you'll need to reconfigure it.

Im jealous, mine broke the week before Halo 3..grr.
Anyway, as for moving it, its simple, just two connections and the ethernet cable. Changing from HD to normal is just simply flicking the switch.
Good call on removing the disc first, i didnt and now have some lovely scoring round the edge of Forza leaving me to only play about 50% of the tracks - luckily Laguna Seca wasnt affected!

Cheers for the advice everyone, looks like she's in for a few days of lovingly stroaking my head while I concentrate on Halo 3, and I won't have a leg to stand on when I question the need for new, exceedingly expensive curtains/shoes/sofas, as it'll be a case of "You said "yes, whatever, don't care" when I asked you the other day"!
