Hi Chaps & Chapettes

OK panic over – its back by popular demand!

You’d miss your own parents funeral for this – you know it…hehe

It’s the Pheasant run but with a twist right at the end…

I’m calling this run the “Carbon Offset” run cos at the half way point where we stop for a quick re-group I’ll be planting an acorn by the roadside where, 20 years later, a mighty oak will stand thus offsetting all of our emissions for that days hooning – Clever eh? biggrin

You know, I say “planting” but I may actually just flick an acorn or two out of the window along the way – one’s bound to root isn’t it?

The date is Sunday 28th October and as Sunrise is at 06:51 am that morning its gonna be another reasonably early run.

Details of the exact time and meeting point can be obtained by e-mailing me at:

ian_millar00@hotmail.com

Don’t e-mail me through my profile as it sometimes doesn’t work – just click the link above.

Info for the newbies/pheasant virgins:

Unfortunately, the roads going there cannot be beaten for scenery and being 'right foot friendly'.

Again, there will be maps, for those who don't know the way but the bottom line, as always, is simple, shout "keep up!" wink

Names here please....

PS: Having e-mailed you the details please do not post them on here - ta.

B@ll@x I'll still be in the States (assuming it would have been open to non Surrey/Sussex types). Double B@ll@ox in fact.

While I think of it, and we're on the topic of hooning around, has anybody ever invited the PH Porsche folks to join us (or vice versa) on one of these eminently safety conscious and envirnmentally sympathetic jaunts?

Yet another run i can't make as i'll be running in the Great South Run, so make sure the route avoids any roads that lead to the portsmouth area as last year there was around 18000 runners and i have checked on National Rail enquiries website and there is engineering works on Portsmouth bound trains so the roads will be even more busier.
