Been offered an engine flush when I get my oil changed at the car's next service. Worth doing? I have really no idea. Cost £15.

Probably if the offer was from a dealer or service centre.

Possibly not if the offer was from a plumber

Mobile1 pretty much cleans out engines anyway. Most late model synthetics do a good clean out in any case.
Unless they think they can decoke the pistons, though I suspect yours will be well burnt clean anyway smile
Save the money for more petrol IMO.

My advice is don't do it, if the oil is jet black and really old then a maybe. Better option is to get the oil changed a few times to clean it out. Drain it, fill it up, run the engine for a few minutes, drop the oil out, change the filter, fill it up, run it for a few minutes, drop the oil then fill it up again.

Mine has done 84k and the oil hardly changes colour at all between changes.

Do you really want you engine running on some cheap chemical that breaks down any/all of the shit stuff in the engine, whilst it's running that shit will be pumping through all the bearing shells, don't do it....

Waste of money.

Just use good oil, and change regularly, and even at 200k, it still wouldnt need a flush.

Thanks guys - no one seems to be raving about it so not going to get it done.
