Am possibly looking for an inexpensive hard-top wedge to use as a daily commuter.

Does anyone have anything for sale?

If so please send me a mail asap - I would ideally like one next week!

Thanks - Howard thumbup

Nads had his 280 +2 up for sale recently, not sure how he got on, maybe worth contacting him?

I believe my old FHC (chassis 5036) is still resting at Hexham HC, you could ring Tony Abrams and see if he has a price in mind. It was stripped and part-converted for the Tasmin Challenge but as far as I know was never finished and never saw a track. The wheels were sold so they must have been replaced with some others but I don't know what else might be missing.

Last time I spoke to tony.

He had one half finished project that been done to perfection but 75% finished.

And other car that's complete ready to run, but is as they was for the tasmin series. 2.8 Engine etc.

Thanks for the 'Heads up' James and Nick.

Hi Wedgeman,
My Taz FHC+2 is up for sale at the moment (although not currently advertised). You are welcome to come to have a look. I know that you are looking for a cheap one (although cheap and reliable don't usually go together).
At the moment I am using it as a daily driver (because the estate has a hole in the radiator and a cambelt in need of a change) Oh dear!
My new blue TVR leaks like crazy in the rain so the black FHC+2 is the daily drive.
It works well but it depnds what you are after.
The spoiler is quite low and so speed bumps can catch you out. It has had poly bushes fitted by the previous owner (Gemini the North York RO)and so the ride is firm. It has no power steering and so parking in tight spots needs muscles. Despite all that - it still puts a smile on my face every day. It does also have 5 gears which makes motorway cruising easier.
Let me know what you think. (There is a pic on my profile and I can email you more.)

do you mean with a daily commuter, that you want to use it this winter time?

please, please ...dont do that...its not worth that another chassis will rot away.

if you think using it daily in summer time and you can keep it over night (and over winter) in a garage...no problem.
