Just been reading this month's Octane, they review a book by Iain Ayres called "TVR- All the Cars" during which they say the following:

"This TVR tome is similar to the cars themselves: a bit crude in places, possibly a little vulgar, but relatively cheap and cheerful" I wouldn't mind but the same could be said of many of the marques they generally revere as automotive Royalty - e.g. quite a large number of Ferraris (apart from the cheap and cheerful bit).

I'm going to buy the book regardless.

I can't spell it - but phonetically (and for those who want to know) it is "for yarg leyka mehr deyna broost"

Octane is a top magazine and I was a little disappointed in that statement as well. Came across as very condescending which is very unusual for the general writing throughout.

The only thing I gamble on are cars and, just like in real gambling, I always come off worse

Which dialect is that - sounds like swedish "For jag leka med dina brost" which means Can I play with your boobs? No wonder you got slapped but did she kiss after she slapped you? smile
