S/H Dealers in Bristol/South West

[LordGrover]

I'm keen on having a pop at this photography malarky but I'm a bit put off by the initial expense for something that I may not take to. So ... before I spend thousands on sparkly new kit, I thought I'd try to pick up a second hand or refurbished camera and lens(es) so I can play for a month or two without risking (what is for me) a small fortune on another 'it was a good idea at the time' interest, like my foray into golf.
Anyhoo ... anywhere in Bristol/Bath area that has a selection of reasonably priced used kit?

Don't know anywhere particularly in your area, but have heard of Ace who have a secondhand section.

A bit of a trek for you, but Mifsuds have been going for years and are supposed to have a good reputation.

Coolio! Ace Cameras are about 1.1/2 miles from home and I never knew - I'll pop down at the weekend. Mifsuds.com are a bit of a hike as you say, but appear at first glance very reasonable.

T4 Cameras are not too far away in Swindon too, though they don't list much on the website - maybe I'll call them before I set out.

Thanks both.

they have a few branches in the sw. Always worth phoning them up, sometimes their prices are higher than warehouseexpress.com BUT they are local etc and always very helpful
