The 400SX is in for a service soon. It has an NCK engine in it - does anyone know whether these engines need tappet adjustment, or are they normal hydraulical tappets?

I've never looked under the rocker covers to check.

Any other NCK servicing tips or gotchas?

Well it was a option for the SEAC's with NCK's to have solid lifters.

But all other NCK's had standard lifters. so should need no more service requirements than any other rover v8.

It's not hard to miss! Makes it pretty hard to change No.1 plug during the service.

Yup , Matt, you should change the oil more often than you fit the roof, every 3K.
