We are all staying at he am-tiertgarten this time, it's the hotel part of the Pistenklaus restaurant and I think it run by the family of that Sabine girl, and she can often be found loitering too. First time I have stayed there as we stayed over in Dusseldorf last time, but it comes recommended by a few regulars and the like so am sure it is fine.

Top place and top people!
No secure car parking but its in a nice quiet village and they are used to cars of far greater values in teh area anyway.
Can be booked up well in advance though, as are many places close to the ring.
