Tamora to Cerbera
Discussion
I have only owned my Tam for a very short while but on the Tvr get togethers I have been to so far has re-iterarted my desire for a Cerbera.(maybe i should have gone for one in the 1st place!) Anyone on here gone this route and regretted it?
Thoughts on the major differences please. Performance/cost etc?

I have actually gone the other way from a Cerb to a Tam, abet with a 4 year gap in between.
I really wanted another Cerbera and would have one like a shot if I had a 2 car garage, I still lust after the yellow ones in the classifieds. I have a Tam as it is for "special" days and the roof off makes these more special. The only thing that put me off a Cerb is the clocks in the ones I looked at seemed dated (taking cover now)
In a nutshell I feel the Cerb felt like a very quick and substantial GT, particularly the interior. The Tamora feels somewhere between this and a Lotus Elise. In the Cerb I did 2000 miles around Scotland in the snow, not sure I would do this in the Tamora.
Tamora largely reliable and cheap to run now sorted. Cost/patience was why I sold the Cerbera, returned home at the AA's pleasure 3 times in 6 months, twice requiring engine out fixes...
As always the above is only my opinion. Find someone with a "Cerbera to Tamora" thread, maybe they'll want to do a day/weekend swap with you?

I was speaking to Pete at dream machines today about this subject and he mentioed that someone had their cer trailered back to them 3 times.....if you are in twickenham then it must be you!I really wanted another Cerbera and would have one like a shot if I had a 2 car garage, I still lust after the yellow ones in the classifieds. I do get conflicting stories though, DM say don't touch them and Fernhurst say the opposite! I can't win.....guess I will stick with the tam for now although its back in with DM again for the heater to be fixed!
It was actually Waldon Way in Maidstone where it went back to each time, this was 2002/2003.
If each time you come out to get in the car you wish it was something else then surely the way to win is to get what you really want?
Whats the worst that can happen? Tam has a weak engine, Cerb's have rotten chassis, Tam's leak, Cerb's are hard to find bits for... If you believed everything people said about them wouldn't you be looking out the window at a Boxster/S2000/Z4 right now?
