Cheers. It will stay in the garage most of the winter. I only bought it as a summertime toy.

Lovely looking bike mate. However, how the hell are you gonna be able to wait 3 weeks for it??!! Is that exactly 21 sleeps??!!

Top choice mate. I've had my 748 SPS for 9 years now and don't think I'll ever sell it. The most beautiful bike ever made IMHO. Torture rack at low speed around town etc. but get on a decent road and it all comes together perfectly.

The timimg of this is perfect!
I passed my test in June and my first Bike was a 695 Monster with the termi' sports exhausts fitted.
Great naked bike, really love it but I've already had my head turned by the 749S.Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!
Now be honest chaps, am I getting ahead of myslef and is this too much for me to handle?!
I'm going to get some advanced lessons/further tuition but would welcome some advice from you seasoned pro's out there who can tell me honestly if I'm running before I can walk? Help!!!

Get the bike you want, you're going to spend 99.99% of the time under 80mph anyway so you might as well be happy even when bimbling. smile

Could not agree more. A 749 is NOT too much...if you want one, buy one.

Nuff said.

Enjoy.
