Who else parks diagonally across 2 spaces like the 360 owner I saw today.

Not a bad idea tbh as it takes the opening door parking dents out of the equation.

Till someone scratches it because they don't appreciate you taking up two spaces - even though you feel justified in doing so.

One of three things will happen

a) They'll damage your car for being a "poncy tosser"
b) They'll park next to it just on the piss as well
c) They'll leave it alone

Sadly it's usually either A or B

and rightly so if its a busy carpark. Owning a 360 is not an excuse for being a tosser. I would never damage anyones property for such a thing but if this was in a very busy carpark or in a disabled bay, I'd take great delight in wedging my truck in somewhere inconvenient.

Pathetic. Asking for trouble (even though there's no excuse for damaging other peoples prop.) and then he'll bleat when it happens. Talk about 'look at me and my Ferrari' No more entitled to do this than the guy who can just about afford to buy a new £15k car and is - rightly - just as proud of it. He's making other Ferrari owners look bad to by association too. Crap idea.

I can hear it now "typical Ferrari driver"! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

If he's worried about dents and the wide door opening, which lets face it, the doors are bloody wide ... then park it on an end spot.

Diagonally across two places in a supermarket in a "look at me stylee"? loser

Who goes to the supermarket in a Ferrari anyway. Take the bloody Austin Vauxford if youre off shopping.

If you have to go in the rari, park it in the far corner because nobody else will park more than 20m from the door!

If you feel that precious about a car, leave it at home.

If you feel that precious about yourself, leave yourself at home.

Bloke near me takes his 430 to my local Tesco. Always parks between the lines and from what I have seen people are careful not to open their doors on it.

Although never owning a Ferrari, I did love my M3 and would usually (if there were plenty left) park in the bays for people with kids, as these had extra wide spaces and you don't need a permit to park there. Also, as you wouldn't really get much shopping in a Ferrari you shouldn't be too long and would be unlikely to piss anyone of, too much.

lots of us have done it. myself included, but only out the way in the deserted far corners of the car park & never in a disabled space!

Why? These bays are for people with kids. No kids, don't park there.

When I go to a supermarket sometimes I have the kids with me & sometimes I dont. When I do I park in the kids bays, when I don't I don't. Makes no difference if I am driving my £15k vauxhall Zafira or my £90k Porsche.

That winds me up almost as much as people parking in disabled bays when they have no need. I would never do any damage to a car parked like this - but plenty of people would.

Sad post - especially from a Ferrari owner! I drive mine at every opportunity including going to the supermarket. Park it in the furthest most deserted corner of the car park and no probs so far.smile I don't "have" to go anywhere in it - I just want to.

Why don't they have a "supercar" parking section, along the lines of the "parents with child" parking bit. Should have very wide bays and perhaps a complimentary valet service. After all, we will probably be spending a lot more on the high margin premuim products ... biggrin

Car parks are really not that big. Just park in the furtherst spot away. Its only going to be another 20 or 30 metres.

I can never understand people who drive around and around just to find a space 6 nearer to the door.

I'll never ever park in a disabled bay or a parent and child bay etc, BUT when i got to supermakets etc in the 360 i park as far away from other cars as possible. Don't see to make much difference as when i come back there is always a car either side of it, even if its not busy.

In my apartment underground car park i always park in two space as the spaces are smaller than standard ones and there are quite a few spares around.
