What starter relay ampage?
Discussion
Hundreds- depends on how cold the engine is, a thick oil takes more power to move than hot oil. I think a minimum would be about 60 amps up to around 250. The only thing that limits the current on a stalled starter (when you first apply power) is the DC resistance of the windings, supply cable and internal resistance of the battery, which is fractions of an ohm, so the intial current is very high. Once the starter motor starts to turn, it also acts a bit like a generator pushing power back into the battery, so less current is drawn overall as its speed increases.
