shout ANY BODY HAVE A GRIFFITH LEFT HAND rear light unit for sale! Must have tinted/smoked lens over the reverseing light ( Not clear plastic)UNIT TO FIT 4.0 PRECAT MODEL

I have a brand new pair of rear lights if you want to upgrade them both to clear ones.

Standard Cavalier Mk3 units - plenty on ebay or down your local scrap dealer. Remember they are uipside down so the n/s cavlier is the o/s Griff and vice versa. Standard units are clear, the smoked ones are on the GLS (I think) but not many of these around. If your reverse lens looks browny then you have the smoked ones.
If you go to the tatters then get the bulb holder an about 6 inches of cabling (for future use if needed).

Yes, thats the one - got a spare set of GSI lights somewhere! I knew it wasn't GLS as it didn't look right but my brain's fried at the mo.

The ones on Ebay are the clear lens type off a Estate!!
I already emailed the guy.

So its the GSI model ones I require.

Yes, you can also remove the orange colour on those and use a silver(flash orange) bulb.

Why would anyone want a smokey reversing light?

I find it amusing that when the indicators are tinted everyone wants them clear and when the reversing lights are clear they want them tinted.

confused i have a pair of lenses with bulbs & holder, they look slightly tinted but not to
sure as i don't have anything to compare them to. if your interested let me know.they are from
the 97 griff i am breaking.

I meant in general- what makes one tinted lens cool and another uncool.
