Trailing Arm Bolts

Does anyone know what thread the bolts are that go through the shims on the trailing arms??? I have a spare Im repairing but the threads have gone rusty so I want to re tap them to clean them out (I dont have the old bolts to check from)

Thats one of the few bits I didn't take apart. If you don't get someone along with a proper answer soon try carving down a piece of wood to screw in the hole, roughly square or similar so that the threads bite and leave a witness mark. You will then be able to measure the thread pitch, measure the diameter and compare them to the thread tables (try namrick.co.uk). My guess is that they will be metric course but might be UNF.

I took mine to pieces last year and when I temporarily lost a bolt on the garage floor, the only bolt I could fimd to fit was off an old Ford 1960's twin cam flywheel. The bolt has a very fine thread.

My S series suspension bolt kits include the rear trailing arm bolts - which I had to have specially made because they're not generally available 'off the shelf'.
