I'm meeting Dennis The Menace, Bob the planner and possibly a few others near the chippenham exit of the M4. We will be taking the scenic route as opposed to the motorway.

Not sure yet, but one of the group wants to test the breakfast offerings of the PistonPie Van to try and guess if it will help cure hangovers the following day, so I would imagine an early one. Probably about 9 o'clockish north of Chippenham but we'll decide nearer the time. I need to arrange it with Dennisthe menace and Bob The Planner. Certainly the earlier the start the lower the numpty traffic level.

Looking forward to this I drove up the A429 last sunday for the Walton Hall Porsche day and it's a great road (if you can avoid the numpties).
What route are we going to take? I was originally going to turn off to go via Broadway as I remember from my childhood we used to go through there and there's a nice hill with bends and stuff

Just been posted as well....keep an eye on the speed! Looks like the Police are zero tolorance, already reports of vans on the M40 and I would be very cautious on the Foss Way
