Ferrari TR7

New model Ferrari spotted on ebay!

Italian beauty?
Italian beauty?
Fresh from the MR2 F40 conversion kit, ‘my car is a Ferrari body kits’ brings you this new Ferrari TR7 V8.

The seller plainly has to state “Not a Ferrari”, just in case you were slightly confused by those Italian lines. Luckily the car is finished in matching red interior to truly show off its potential. Under the bonnet the Rover v8 isn’t a bad motor, but above the bonnet you would have to ask why?

Unfortunately this car misses out on shed of the week by being just a little too pricey,

Mmmmm.. nice!
Mmmmm.. nice!
but for those that want that Ferrari feeling for TR7 money, get over to ebay, but watch out for the tumbleweed on your way!

Y'know what? i reckon that'd make a mint drag car. It's got a kind of mini funny car look about it. I'd have it, and it's already got a v8 in it so that's all good. have to be matt black though, and no hint of ferrari labelling on it at all. and a parachute on the back, and a tubbed rear end with some fat mickey t's to bot. oohh, i'm a bit excited by this thought now!

"If you want a car that can turn heads & has a real WOW factor then this is the one for you"

Oh it turns heads, what he doesnt realise is people are looking and thinking bloody hell whos that knob he must be mad. Reminds me of years ago when my Mini Cooper overtook a Ferrari 355 hahaha a similar sort of kit car that was just so wrong it was unbelievable. Why do these people bother, they should just go and buy a classic ferrari and then at least its real. I bet the guy who owns that tells everyone he owns a ferrari until he lobs his key out and theres a ferrari sticker nicely placed over his ancient triumph key.

I get the feeling that this bloke started building this when TR7s were considered decent (OK maybe 'recent' not 'decent') sports cars, Miami Vice had just appeared on TV and the Rover V8 was the only engine to have. 25 years of hard labour and this is the result. hehe

On a plus note, that white Cossie in the background of one of the pics looks pretty tasty... unless it turns out to be a kitted up Ford Cortina!

I know it's wrong, but I kinda like it in a whacky racers type way! Get some matching white letter tyres for the front, a peach suit (with sleeves rolled up) and some espadrilles and blat down to Le Mans in it, that'd be a laugh!

It's criminal.

To think that someone might have actually took hard earned readies for stuff done to this car. I don't think I could live with myself. Taking money from someone for GRP mouldings when they say "it's for my TR7 testarossa" is a criminal act.

Should be a Section 21 under the Mental Health Act for anyone even remotely connected with this . . . .

Anyone notice, who I suspect is the owner, the bloke stood in one of the pics in him lumberjack shirt. He looks very, very proud, and rightly so! What a well laid driveway.
