I was asked this in the carpark this morning by some random bloke. "...you know, like the VXR racing cars" he continued. I replied that no, it was a Monaro, but the VXR bit was right though Supreme blankness came over his face, he muttered "nice car" and wandered off...

It's cool having a car nobody knows about yes

Two blokes were looking at mine the other day with interest. One turned to the other and said "that's one of those VXRs".....except mine's a CV8. Who needs big spoilers eh?

My Monaro went into an Autoglass depot to have a new rear quarter glass (after waiting five weeks for the damned thing to arrive) and the young oik that drove it in said "it is more comfortable than a Calibra". I stated that I cannot see why anyone would compare the two, other than that they are both coupes with a Vauxhall badge (though I suppose it could be argued the Calibra is a hatch), and he said "they all drive the same".

Not the Calibras I have driven.....

I've had the Calibra comparison thrown at me quite a few times.

They don't know, they just don't know!
