Hey guys
It's that time again. I have an 05 Sagaris with 5 years ncd. I'm 37 years old (well 55 actually)
Renewal for existing policy from A Plan at £639, fully comp obviously with protected no claims and £350 xs.
Best so far is Direct Line at £522 same conditions.
Several companies won't quote but what's flavour of the month at the moment out there?
Cheers everyone

Hi Eddie,

oddly enough, I always find Lloyds TSB to be the cheapest! They are perhaps not known for being big insurers but they are underwritten by Churchill or something like that.

I am only 25, drive a T350c and live in Manchester so the premium is astronomical, but they were a good 1/3 cheaper than Direct Line and others...

Hope that helps - you can get quote online.

Very tedious to fill in the info sheet but they offered quotes for up to about 25 companies and about 10 declined to quote.
There is then a page where upto 4 quote details can be compared.
Top 2 were Tesco value at £446 & Churchill at £486.
Churchill win with free windscreen cover and 90 days EU driving cover.
So will buy Churchill at £486 instead of A Plan at £640.

Baz, Lloyds TSB was £559

Choosing insurance is not just about the cheapest quote.
