I was caught by Bib speeding over 100mph back in July (18 July in fact).

I was told verbally there would be a court appearance. O onlt got the documents to appear in court through the post today.

I thought they had 60 days to get stuff to you, otherwise no case??

IIRC 'they' (the Prosecution) must bring proceedings within 3 years of the alleged offence.

I had heard a different number of months, but don't want to add more confusion, but AFAIK it is within allowances.

Please stop swearing at the police its not their fault you have poor observation skills wink

Oh and enjoy your ban (I assume you wanted to be banned, since you continued to get caught when on 10 points)

I went to court in July when I got caught doing 92 on a 60 A-Road. I got no points but a two week ban with £150 fine and costs etc... Look pathetically sad and remorseful at the judges and you should be OK, I certainly was. Good Luck!

Visit Pepipoo, and take a proper solicitor wth you. Judging by your name, I guess you need your car for work?

Once that has been done, I believe a warrant is then issued for your arrest.

No. Once an information has been laid, a summons is issued and served on the defendant.
