Race calander looks good.

Mix of Rarri and Aston and with a bit of luck Peter Wheeler will still be racing his Aston so us TVR fans can hurl abuse at him for selling the firm to the Russian Muppet. rotate

And its a freebee for us DPRAC members.wink

Should be a good day - one of the last UK race days of the season.

I was meant to be racing but need to be away by 2ish so am just going along to support - weather looks reasonable so good excuse to exercise the car before Winter sets in.

Yup.

I'll probably be set up at Coppice as usual since the rest of the outside of the circuit now seems to be a no go area for vehicles not related to the organisers, circuit staff or marshalls.

It's a shame, especially on the quieter club days, as it restricts the potential for anyone with a mass of photo related kit (like me). Even if lightly armed with cameras and lenses it reduces the number of places one can visit and assess successfully on the day.

Let's hope that most of the day is as bright and sunny as last year.

Indeed, we were moved on at See Red, from my favourite perch on the outside up above Starkeys bridge. Been parking up there for decades.

I went to Oulton Park a couple of weeks ago to watch the AMOC racing and there was some great racing and some cracking cars there, both on and off the track, but no Wheeler even though there was a Tuscan racer racing, but that might be why he didn't go perhaps.

Oh, and I won't be going because I will be at work.

Went to this earlier. Was good fun. Loads of nice cars racing and parked around the pits and infield.

I was there for the start - walked back to the car (in-field) around 11:30 and noticed my near-side rear tyre was flat. Borrowed a pump from a garage, drove it round to the Paddock and the nice bloke from the tyre van found that the tyre and valve were all fine.

Only a censored crack on a wheel spoke! eekweeping

(The Dymag wheels on my car are hollow, giving more air to compress and less weight).

At least it didn't fracture whilst on the motorway I suppose.

Hmm.

The infield doesn't get any smoother does it?

But today things seemed more open. Quiet enough that it was not likely to be a problem I guess.

When did the AMOC and Ferrari owners club merge? wink

I swear there were more Ferraris than Astons. Including one driven by Chris Rea apparently. According to the commentary.

Sat in the DPRAC area discussing trackdays with cirvy and the next thing an open top MG is barrel rolling in front of us......makes you google 'roll cages' when you get home. rotate
