Take photos of these signs asap
Was it a tempo 50?
Roadworks?
@yikes:
You did not move the signs around like one bloke did and got jailed for
(Think it's on achives.. the bloke who got done for 42 mph in a 30 mph but who then had the bright
of upping the lolly sign to the road with the Gatso
)

SP20 ? What type of vehicle were you driving ?
Not been unknown for the prats to mis-type something on these forms.
We've had the 420 mph Maestro in a 30 mph zone before now
Not to mention Steve's blunder over SP40 instead of SP30 which led to several getting hammered on insurance hikes as a result of his blunder - for which he typically chucked his toys out of his pram when challenged about it. Then downed his periscope and submerged somewhere in the mudflats for a while in a right huff.

I take it then it was a single carriageway road & the sprinter van was a goods vehicle under 7.5 ton to which a 50 limit (not 60 like a car) was applicable ?
Ah.. this is Steve's fave on the A66. He apparently cops van drivers in their droves there. Edited by vonhosen on Saturday 29th September 18:24
It seems that the guys over the Solway have the same infection

"Weigh Anchors" or words to that effect!

The rules are quite clear, see the new Highway Code rule 124 and table
Knowing the limit for the vehicle is up to the driver.
