How much (list) for a 599GTB with a few options??

Guys,

Saw a lovely Titanium 599 today on Brook Street (round corner from Bond Street) - was LHD but UK registered and had the lovely dark red leather interior with the "race" style seats (sorry don't know much dancing donkey terminology). Anyway cut a long story short - wife really liked the car (not always a great metric - as she also likes LR Defender's, Audi TT's and Gucci Handbags) and I have to begrudgingly admit that it did look OK..............OK it looked better than OK...alright?

Anyway - assuming one could walk into one's local friendly Ferrari dealer and buy one (and yes I know thats an oxymoron and is unlikely to happen) - what is the approximate list price for a 599 with a few toys/options - such as aforesaid sports seats etc. (I have an Italian contact on the "inside" ! who might be able to pull strings and get me one when I want it - he's abhorred by the fact that I am on the dark side and have never liked donkeys)

Guideline price info appreciated - unless someone can point me to a UK online price list somewhere?

Base cost is £176k IIRC

£185k with F1

Decent spec with ceramics, nice wheels, daytona seats, bit of carbon, shields, sat nav, leather soon gets to £217k

Some of those prices aren't too bad - but I can't get over how much the shields are! How do they justify that?

shields are recessed on most ferraris so require different wings, hence the bargain price

Amazing that after one year of deliveries there are still hardly any 599s available in the UK

The list price is massively misleading as it is impossible to order a 599 without the F1 Superfast and ceramic brakes, i.e. they are "compulsory options" (oxymoron, I know).

I also have never seen a 599 without the carbon sports seats, so they are probably mandatory too.

It is therefore impossible to buy a 599 for less then £200k in the UK and Ferrari should be honest enough to say so.
