Hi,
I was looking for a 500 model, 2001 or newer recently
There aren't that many of the last face lift models about, but some 2001 models are of that type if that's what you're looking for.
A quick trawl on autotrader shows 5 450/500s nationally, all from dealers. Two of those look quite familiar from when I was looking.
I'd say the prices on autotrader right now (19 - 23) are a little high.
I saw an 02 for £14 I think, had 60k miles though and the colour/feel just didn't do it for me.
There was a 500 with £49k for £16k when I was looking too, but again , it just wasn't the right one.
Know what you want, know what you can spend and don't delay when you see the right one.
The right one will come and go in a flash, the others will stay there for months and months at high prices.

I looked for ages more choice if you would accept a 450 but as for 500 not many about, even when i did find one it was poor conditition. The dealer drivestyle has one in a 2003 looks nice

hiltonig,i've been to see this car 2 weeks ago ! what do you think of the colour scheme light blue and light blue interior i wasn't to sure ? the car seems in good condition,on the downside its got the old style seats and wood dash, the price i still think is to high what would be a fair offer £ 16,500 ! £17,500 ???? also the wheels i havnt seen those on a chim ! and i know the car has been up for sale for 7 10 weeks ? and its not sold why ? thanks pyney
Yep not sure why it has the old style seats as the later ones are nice. As for the wood dash me personally I like them as they are a little bit of class, the stainless ones just dont do it for me. As for the colour it seams strange but blue seems popular on the later cars. When i was looking I didnt want blue, wanted low millage, and i wanted darker seats and dash which kind of limited my choices. The first time i saw the one I bought I didnt think yeah but as time has gone on I really like the colour scheme and havnt looked back. Keep us posted !!

yep i bought from a dealer 98 500 starmist crimson 10.5k miles paid 15k but got a years warranty. That was before the factory went, I could have gone higher but to be honest I never found a later 500 with low miles. The dealer took 1k off the price as no trade in and the one I got is immaculate condition.
