Looks interesting, what are you trying to capture?

Looks good for awkward macro shots and maybe hanging the camera out of the car window to take pictures of cars in front or behind

I have one which I use (ocassionally). The instructions are rubbish, the on screen controls are very fiddly - but other than that it does work. I use it to capture stuff whilst I'm not there (the movement sensor). Tricky to set just right (if a cloud goes over you get 5 empty frames), but as I say, It's rather clever and will enable you to get shots of wildlife etc. As for using the monitor - well you can see what it's looking at, but it's not great quality.

Thanks for that Steve, can you still use the camera shutter release and just use this as a viewfinder? Do you think it would work well hanging the camera out of the side of the car and taking shots of a car in front/ behind? Or is it just a gimmick that would stay unused at the bottom of the bag?

Yes, you can still use the camera shutter release, but as for hanging cameras outside cars, well a long shutter cable will do that much cheaper (and probably better). I'd really only recommend this bit of kit for the motion sensor, as trying to get a good view via the little screen is a bit of a pain (sunlight will make it really difficut to see).
