Okay, so how long before someone breaks the 'sound barrier' on the M4?

Wonder how much they'll contrive to spend on a couple of miles of garden fence...

Err. Does this mean they're going to plant some TREES alongside the carriageway? This would

1) Reduce noise pollution for residents
2) Be good for the planet absorbing CO2.

Common sense? Not in this country...

The French are proposing to cut down on "dangerous roadside obstacles." Sounds sensible until you discover this means obliterating the avenues...
