Tidying up P+P?

Have the mods had a meeting a decided P+P needs bringing back in hand?


I notice a few more closed topics and deleted threads these last few days but mostly I have been noticing a tidier approach to posts, so anything that mentions cars is zapped across to GG or Plod and the law, even a question on borrowing to buy a bit of woodland was pushed to 'business'.

I am not so sure this anal obsession with tidiness is ideal as I sometimes post stuff that is car, computer, watch, business or law related for the diversity of opinion I get on P+P.

So, deliberate attempt to bring P+P to heel or just good housekeeping, and if it is the later what is the rationale?

Or will this get moved to 'web site feedback' where it will never be read?

PS that is what happened to my post suggesting we have a 'building' thread as I recall.

Now don't make me legislate on this.

You could always try putting "Mods please don't move" with a valid reason in your post, they aren't evil like some are trying to make them out to be..

They always get moved, without question. Don't bother with that.


And posts are always moved to the forums they should be in all the time as and when they are seen or reported. If a lot are moved it's because a lot have been posted in the wrong forum.

I just figured out why peeps are not happy with threads being moved, you have to keep adding forums to your prefences that you would usually ignore..
