I know a few of you on here are members of the DPRAC so you should also have received your invite in the newsletter to this years trackday.

Am I going mad or is the price nowhere to be seen? I'm not entirely sure how much to write my cheque out for, is it the same price as last year? confused

You're not going mad, it's no where in the letter, called in at the club office while I was at Donington yesterday and the price is the astronomical amount of £5 again. winkrotate

See you there.... driving

Holiday form in, reply awaited...

One more question, on the aplication form it asks "Passenger if applicable". Do I need to put a name here or just answer "Yes"? I'm not sure who'll be tagging along yet so don't have a definate name.

Not sure on that one, I just left it blank, in previous years passengers have had to be DPRAC members as well, but not sure about this year.
The clubs organisation seems a little off this year on all aspects, the website hasn't been updated once, and getting a reply via email is very slow, will probably bring a few things up at the AGM. rotate

OK. I didn't realise passengers had to possibly be members. I don't like to be critical of the club as they give fantastic value for money but the standards do seem to have fallen a little this year.

Confirmation arrived today.....
I'm guessing I must have been a bit keen as I'm ticket number 004 rotate
Just hope the new exhaust isn't too noisy and the new suspension proves it was worth while. driving

Donington Park Racing Association Club
But the website is very out of date this year.
Basically a club run by volunteers that help provide a few trophies and funding for the medical team at Donington.
Membership is £15 a year and for that this year there’s been free entry to just about every club level race meeting, you get the use of the facilities and grandstand on the exit of Hollywood, and about this time of the year they run a trackday.
The day is a sessioned day split between bikes and cars, so about half the track time of a normal day but the price is only £5. rotate

A fiver!! Makes my day on the 20th look expensive at £200. Mind that is open pitlane on the GP circuit. Only driven the national so far so looking forward to it. Hope the sunshines for all of you smile.

Current betting is that I trigger the noise meter on the start/finish straight while I'm somewhere near Copice. paperbag
