Heater Fan / Blower Replacement

Has anybody replaced a heater fan / blower before?

The fuse is fine, the control box seems fine, the stepper motor on the mixer can be heard moving, etc. etc. I just think the blower has stopped working.

Can anybody advise me where it is? Is it underneath one of the two pod type things on the bulk-head in the engine bay on the right hand side as you look from the front of the car? If so, which one is it under?

Sure you will have checked, but is the light on around the rotary knob controlling fan speed? if not could have been pushed off by accident.

I think poss access- battery comes out and then access from under

When this problem appeared on mine it was the pin block connecter behind the console and just underneath te shelf the problem was traced to, the neutral connector pins just needed cleaned took a bit of time sourcing the problem but an easy fix.

Best of luck, mines is also a very early model within the first dozen I'm told.

I had the same problem,also turned out to be the pin block connector behind the passenger side dash.You'll have to go upside down in the footwell and it will be velcro'd onto the back of the dash.A few of the pins had corroded.
