Furtive - I chuckled so much when I saw your pics cos some of my other ones are almost exactly the same! We could play "snap" with our photos from Japan. I reckon half the tourists who go there take exactly the same piccies! Ha ha!

Gemm - yeah, we loved the okonmiyaki! One of the few things the missus could eat (veggie...).

The faux-Venice was in Nagoya IIRC, down by the harbour IIRC. Quite a nice city actually. We only stayed in Nagoya for a bit - it was kinda a stopover on our way to Toyota City for our tour around the factory there (hence the pics of the Toyota robots).
