Can anyone help me with how I get the headlamp pod to stay up and have no current passing through it when it is up?

Is there a fuse I could pull out with the lights up, that stops the motor taking the pod back down?

Thanks.
Chris.

Easyist way is to remove the relays. or disconnect the battery.

There is a fuse (or rather fuses) but spotting them on your car could be a matter of trial and error...

That why I said relays as there are less of them and easier to pull out.
Just don't remove the red one.

Lights on.

Battery earth lead off.

Do the bulbs.

Dab the battery earth lead onto the -ve terminal to check the bulbs.

Finish off cowls etc.

Battery back on, lights off.
