I picked up some freebie Autoglym stuff from the stand at the Motor Sport show at the NEC back in early Spring. I'm not keen on the car shampoo, so I continue to use Extreme Wash from Turtle Wax, which does what it says on the bottle 
The Autoglym Polish, however, does work a treat. ((A note to the Bodyman if he reads this: I still use your secret blue stuff, which makes Ruby shine like a mirror...or is that the paintwork?

I'll second that. Zymol kicks bottom. Makes yer garage smell nice too

I have used both Extreme Wash from Turtle Wax and Autoglym Polish on her in the past, both work really well. The Extreme Wash is great to give it a quick wash and a bit of shine too, but the Autoglym really adds an amazing finish. The piccies on my website were mostly taken after a autoglym session.

blitz wax from www.frost.co.uk is a fine product
and is cheaper than the zymol product
but prepartion is always the key to a good shine
this was discussed at length on the S forum
I agree preperation is the key to success, though I go for Maguiars everytime, goes on so well and the finish is fantastic, they have a great range of other products too, such as the tyre wall cleaner lasts weeks not days, tried Zymol too, wasn't so impressed. For polishing yes I agree Autoglym does the trick, also try the extra gloss protection which really locks in the polish, then for me that job is twice a year then coats of wax following that treatment.
Anybody tried the RainX product? What do you think.

I bought the Zymol "starter pack" - wash, prep, wax and leather treatment(with some cloths and applicators). Used it for the first time yesterday when the car was absolutely manky after doing an 8 hour Ride Drive road/track day.
Now shinier than a shiny thing with extra shine
The general instructions that come with the pack are pretty lengthy and cumbersome. I followed the more simple instructions printed on each bottle, which sped up and simplified the process (but probably reduced the effect).
Pre-wax treating the car (with HD Cleanse) took a while, but the actual waxing process is a breeze.

I've tried Zymol, Autoglym and Maguiars and the best one, as far as ease of use, results and how long shine lasts, are concerned, it has to be....

Autosol on the window struts works well too.
Second that although it probably removes protective laquer, but if they are dull the laquer isn't any good anyway!

RainX - Best product ever invented. I have driven from the north of Scotland back to Colchester (with constant rain) with minimul use of the wipers. If applied properly, any speed over 40 and the rain just clides up the window. Takes a little getting use to, but its good. Only use on the front window though, as its waisted else where in my opinion!!
