Hi Chaps,

Just wondering, I still have a little bit of life left on the rear tyres, so far done 12.5k on the factory tyres - is that a UK Monaro record ??

Also any hints and tips to send them out in style - i.e. quick burn out on a private car park ??

Cheers
Steven

Looks like you need to adjust your tracking - one side is still good....

or perhaps just turn them round on the rim and wear the other side out - don't worry too much about the handling implications as I don't think you have them long enough for that....

I think I changed the geometry of the tyre after the first big burn out. Unfortunately I always play to the crowd and it was a big crowd biggrin

I managed to break taction in 3rd and just let it bounce off the limiter and rest is history. I think it shaved off about 5mm in 100yards and the rear tyres were so bad I had to call Black Circles mobile to get me home hehe

Excellent effort Sir. I thought I was bad, down to the canvas on the drift day. 100 yards is much more respectable. I bet your MPG was about 0.01 too smile

You're getting half the mileage that I do and I thought I was bad, 13.8k in just over a year in it and 2 sets gone...

Not down nearly as far but I was quite impressed with how central the wear was, even if it shows they were a tad over-inflated due to the heavy wear being in the centre and not spread more across the width...

Not sure on the tracking - looks like camber.

Probably a mix of toe and camber, though the Monaro must have a good touch of negative camber at the rear and while doing burn outs you'd expect a pattern like that.

Also, are the factory tyres made out of wood? Nearly 13k is amazing.
