Once I know what bike I will be getting next year ( and saying that I did get a Speed triple) I was looking at protecting the paintwork. I know the colour I like (black) does suffer from marks and scratches and I do want the carbon flyscreen, belly pan and front mudguard

is this a DIY job or pro job and if anyone had used this protective film for bodywork, does it work and is it worth spending the money on.

cheers

I have it on my 600rr and its great stuff! Normally my bikes get absolutley battered but this stuff has saved the day - particularly as the lightweight honda fairings seem to be made of glass!

I fitted it to my speed triple, if you have the fly screen it's a bugger to get right, the rest was fairly simple.
It appears to be protecting the bike from the worst of the stone damage, I spend a fair bit of time chasing blackbirds and other big bikes down small backroads and my SV was quite badly shotblasted by the time I traded it in.
