is it to early to post about TT2008....ive been watching the TT2007 DVD the other night again (we went over again for the centinery) and as im all booked for next year i thought i'd put a post up to see who else is booked up for it yet
weve been a few times now but the excitement for the event never lessens
me and fiance are booked into homestay this time! were over there for 10days (thurs of practise week through to sat after race week)
should be a good one

this is something I have wanted to do for a while and as I now have a bike it seems like a requirment!! I had thought that it would be ok to sort earlier next year, but this post has me worried. Should I start sorting this out now and if so are there any good guides for dummies? If covered to death don't kill me I will do a search

I'm there! Got ferry booked, hotel booked for practice week and house booked for race week. There's something on the iomtt.com site about having some extra TT races round the Billown Circuit for the two stroke bikes. Nothing confirmed but they might be run alongside the Southern 100 apparently.
there ya go, phil .... stickin' yer nose in !

strokers are hoping to race at either the pre TT Classic or the post TT steam packet races, down at the Billown Circuit (Southern 100 course) ... the weekends either side of the TT festival.
Two strokes continue to race annually at the Southern 100 in July .... if you've not been, it's worth a visit, if only for the presentation night in castletown square.

Of course! I've just had to remind my mate from 07 to get his ferry booked for next year - which he now has.
I've never been over for the Southern 100, bit awkward when there's Le Mans straight after. Would be good to expand the Pre-TT Classics though, I always enjoy lazy days sat at Ballabeg.
For those of you who saw TT07 either on the island or dvd you must have heard about the Shaun Harris accident and his subsequent retirement from racing
Well, he's back next year!
There's been a few posts from Shaun and articles written about having an MV ride for the supersport. Also, the crash last year was something like 99.9% down to a faulty part. Money is the only sticking point but he's been testing and feels fine.
Balls as big as his head that man.

ill be there, with my honda hat on, go john & guy!!
Not sure if this is confirmed but HM Plant are apparently not going to the island next year. They're racing at the NW200 but not the TT. Looks like Padgetts are sponsoring John Mc for all his races this year.Whether that evens the playing field as far as bikes go I don't know?
And as for Guy Martin.....money on him for a big bike race next year! His post race interviews were legendary, sat up on the mountain in tucks trying to work out what he's saying.
