Off road go kart

Not sure where to post this

I am at lackham college, doing motorsport, the college have give us the option off making a off road kart.

I was wondering if anybody had any websites or plans i could look at, so i can get an idea of what to do.

Also we have no money for any of this, does anybody know where we can get some parts, for example which people dont want, a website which i can advertise on, i bet there are loads of people who through things away that would be useful for us

I have a full space frame shell for an off road go kart.
My original plan was to break a yamaha 600cc road bike, use quad wheels and tyres and uprights.

This has the suspension mounting points also and has probably had 100 hours work on producing the frame. Its very similiar to a honda pilot.
