I'm fed up, two weeks ago I started getting a pain around my ribs and started to cough up horrible stuff I went to see my GP who said I had a chest infection and fluid on my lung and he signed me off for the weekfrown i went home and phoned Shirley to tell her the the news, I had the phone wedged in my neck as I was doing the dishes at the time, I coughed and there was an amazing pain in my neckyikes a little while later my eyes went a bit funny and the next day my face was tingly on one side. another trip to the docs showed I had trapped a nerve in my neck. frown
over the weekend my neck ached so much Ive had no sleep and I still keep getting chesty. I'm signed off for another week and I've been to the hospital for a chest X Ray.
Shirley bought me one of those TENS machines to help my pain in my neck what a wierd feeling it could be used as a torture machine if you have it turned up to high, irked

So I thought I would just say HI too you all hope your all well
(I've only driven the Westfield about two miles last week and I started to feel ill frown

Get well soon Steve, hard to find words to cheer you up, still at least its the end of the fun driving season rather than start.

Ow.

Maybe you spend too much time with the phone wedged in your neck? I've never been much good at that trick and now that I have a Panasonic cordless set-up it's impossible - they shoot out like bars of soap!

And the moral of the story is ..... Washing dishes is a pain in the neck nuts

Those TENS machines work quite well but they need a bit of experimenting with - mine helps with my 3 dodgy discs anyway.

I know what a trapped nerve feels like. Unfortunately, it could take some time to ease frown

Hi everyone, thanks for your messages. My neck feels a little better, still keep feeling chesty though. its strange one minute I'm fine the next I feel chesty.
Ive been trying to use my time well, I sorted out loads of my finances yesterday, sorted out cheaper utilities, I saved a hundred pounds on my car insurance.sorted out cheaper phone calls.
Today my goal is to sort out my pensions, I have three from previous employers which Im going to try and get put into my BOC pension. www.moneysavingexpert.com is my friend smile
I may go for a walk in town later, Ive only left the house to go to the docs this last week.

Sounds nasty - hope you make a speedy recovery. Be careful though, Pensions can be a pain in the neck.
