Not been before although I've seen bits of it on TV. A group of 16 of us have booked for it though so should be a laugh.

Hi Emma wavey I've looked at the Race Of Champions but in Vegas the week before and not sure I'll have the shirt on my back come the 16th Dec. Might be at the Classic show though, keep an eye out in the bars for me.

Not always true, at Goodwood we preferred the 'cheap' seats high up at the back of the grandstand as it gave a better view over the crowd at ground level and the bales.

rolleyes

I thought this thread was about the RoC at Wembley - not GFoS..?

You get the best view near the Start/Finish line, rather than being up with the gods. Unfortunatley, these seats are not cheap. frown

Just a recent example of when 'the gods' were better.

confused

Why ask which seats are best, to then compare the view at an entirely different event..?!?!

I spent some considerable time looking into which seats gave the best view. From what I found (and advice from people who have been to Wembley and other RoC events) the start/finish line areas is the best.

Unfortunately it's priced accordingly...

It's advice, you don't have to take it, but why moan about it when you asked for it...?

No idea why I bother trying to help out...

I fully appreciate everyone's advice on here and I will follow yours regarding ROC.

I think you may have misinterpreted the tone of my posts.

We're going. Should be a good day out, and a good excuse to see that new stadium biggrin

There's an excellent speeded up film of laying the tarmac on the RoC website smile
