Has anyone removed a sill? I removed the plastic end covers next to the rear wheels and found a lot of debris collecting there. I think a potential rust trap. Will they come off without breaking anything? best to ask first....
Is there a better replacement for the plastic pins that secure the carpet over mats as mine have all broken?
Thanks again...

Speak to your Vauxhall dealer, I think they can use the ones from the Vectra if they shorten them.

You can get them from Greens of Rainham, come in a bag of 4. Most of mine were broken when I got my Ro too.

I'm sure someone on here had some made from Metal, but I don't know of anything better that's easily available.

Hello,

The aliminium ones are made by a chap on the ls1gto forum and are available in various colours.

They do look nice actually.

Cheers

This may help (if I've formated it correctly)

I had some floor mat clips machined from stainless bar by a friend at work which look great ,the ones on www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82878 look identicle but a bit pricey maybe you could ask a local machine shop to knock some up from aluminium bar cheaper
